I will never forget Kat and I’s first phone call. After the first 5 minutes I felt like I had known her my entire life. I had so much fun planning, Kat was truly a dream bride. Getting to know her and Kyle was so special and this wedding will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first wedding officially as Morgan & Vine Events.Read More
If you've ever said “planner shhmanner… I don’t need one”, please keep reading. If you’ve ever said “I have no idea where to start”, keep reading. If you’ve ever said “Morgan did my wedding and I don’t know what I would have done without her-she is so awesome at what she does-and so funny-and smart-and a superhero goddess…” then thank-you, I’ll pay you later.Read More
After my first styled shoot, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be asked to collaborate on another one. But luckily for me I was connected with Jalen Laine Photography. We met in a coffee shop over a couple of latte’s and I knew it was meant to be. Jalen said she wanted to do a winter shoot with snow. HECK YES was my first thought.Read More
The female dream team continued to assemble. Now that I had a dress I needed hair and makeup. One of my best friends, Nicole, used to work at Blo a super cool blow dry bar. I asked her if she would help out and she immediately started sending me hair ideas! For makeup, my friend Taryn had started a wedding makeup side hustle. Her work is incredible and our styles align perfectly. I sent her an ask and never thought she would say yes but she did!
I needed models. I asked family friends, who are beyond beautiful and as a couple, jaw dropping. After much persuasion they gave me a hesitant yes. Mwuahaha.Read More
I decided to do a styled shoot back in October to create more content for my website and social media accounts but also to show my style. As a wedding planner I get to make some one else’s dream come to life so it was really fun having the tables turned.
What I didn’t realize about doing a shoot is a) how expensive they can get and b) how much time they take. Like duh, Morgan, it’s basically a mock wedding. I’m not sure why I thought this would be any different.
So where to start?Read More
PB + J planned their stunning wedding at Merridale Cidery in BC all the way from AUSTRALIA! Talk about an amazing duo. I came on board 48 hours before to help out. While not ideal I would do anything for my amazing couples and would do it again in a heartbeat.
They had a private ceremony with close friends and family down by the pond and surrounded by gorgeous orchards. They had actual ringBEARers come out of the woods with their rings. The weather couldn’t have been better, they definitely brought the sun with them.
With the ring of the farm bell dinner was ready, and it was amazing. I'm still dreaming of those potatoes. Hats off to the chef. With plenty of cider, beautiful speeches, a serenade from the bride’s brother, a jaw dropping cake made by the bride’s sister, and an epic dance floor, it was truly a night to remember.Read More
Yesica & Sam got married downtown Vancouver at the beautiful Pinnacle Hotel. These two were such a dream to work with, it was a pleasure to be apart of their story. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing all day! You can tell from the pictures zero fun was had…(not!)
The tea ceremony was steeped in tradition and love. The wedding ceremony had everyone laughing (mostly at Sam) and left not a single dry eye. The dinner was full of games, dancing and the best photo booth I’ve ever seen by The PhotoWall (www.russellkeller.com). Yesica wore not one, not two, but three different gowns! You know we love a good costume change, and she definitely blew us away.

Sarah & Xander got married at Sarah's family property on the beautiful Gabriola Island. They said their I Do's in the forest, cocktail hour overlooking the harbour, and dinner under hundreds of twinkle lights. It was such a magical weekend.
Although we woke up to no power which also meant no water... Sarah's (all-star) Father came up with the ultimate plan B that included a few generators. But as in any fairy tale the power came back on with 30 mins to spare before the guests arrived.
With or without power the love between Sarah & Xander and all of their family and friends truly lit up the day. So many tears were shed (waterproof mascara worthy), so many laughs were had and so many memories were made. Sarah & Xander threw a party like non other.
